About the event

On Easter Monday, Franzensfeste Fortress will be transformed into a place full of discoveries, games and creativity. There is a varied programme for visitors of all ages, inviting them to join in, marvel and enjoy.

Program

Exciting craft activities await guests of all ages in the supply building. Under the themes ‘The Egg Workshop’, ‘Pio the Chick’ and ‘Franzi’s Ears’, children can design, craft and tinker to their heart’s content – there are no limits to their imagination.

Those who prefer to go on a discovery tour can embark on an exciting search through the Middle Fortress in ‘Ferdinand’s Great Egg Hunt’ or explore the world of little crawlers in the environmental workshop ‘A bug’s life’ together with the Neustift environmental workshop.

Hunger is also catered for in between: the Wok Monkeys food truck will spoil you with delicious dishes.
And if you want to find out more about the exciting history of the fortress, you can join one of the guided tours of the Upper Fortress in German or Italian.
