Renting
The various buildings, courtyards and open spaces can be hired for events of all kinds. The large supply building and the spacious inner courtyard in the Lower Fortress offer sufficient space for weddings, anniversaries, company dinners, music events or other larger events. The smaller powder magazine is ideal for smaller meetings, private parties and theatre and music events. Meetings and conferences can be held in the halls of the Infopoint. Organise your event in the Franzensfeste and be inspired by the impressive backdrop.
The ‘General Franz von Scholl’ supply building

The supply building consists of three units with barrel vaults, which are connected by two round arches. This special architectural feature offers event organisers countless possibilities for use. Conferences, lectures, receptions, theatre performances or private celebrations find an ideal venue here.
The powder magazine ‘Ingenieur Carl Martony’

The former powder magazine consists of a central room with a round vault flanked by six side niches. The round arches are made of red bricks and, together with the wooden floor, create a pleasant atmosphere for parties, meetings, smaller conferences or theatre and concert performances.
The inner courtyards

The fortress has several larger and smaller inner courtyards, which are ideal for a wide variety of events. One particularly impressive courtyard is located directly behind the entrance in the Lower Fortress and borders the guest garden of the fortress bistro and the neo-Gothic chapel at the foot of the Middle Fortress. This inner courtyard is ideal for large-scale musical events, theatre performances or social events of all kinds. Another inviting inner courtyard is located in front of the supply building and is also perfect for the aforementioned types of event. Use the unique outdoor areas of the Franzensfeste to make your event an unforgettable experience.
The Middle Fortress

The middle fortress is connected to the lower fortress area by a staircase and a lift. The dominant element in this part of the complex is the vegetation. This not only covers the inner courtyards, but also adorns the roofs. The Middle Fortress offers the opportunity to organise larger festivals, exhibitions or concerts. The interior rooms are also suitable as exhibition pavilions and the outdoor areas can be used in parallel.
Event rooms in the BBT Infopoint
Two event halls can be hired at the BBT Infopoint. The ‘Karel van Miert’ congress hall with 192 square metres of space and room for up to 150 participants and the presentation hall with 69 square metres and up to 60 seats. They are each equipped with state-of-the-art technology and are also suitable for multilingual meetings and press conferences.
